AML & KYC Policy
1. Introduction
CrixCasino (hereinafter casino-crix.com) is committed to the highest standards of security and transparency. This Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) policy is designed to prevent financial crime and verify the identity of our users. Operator: Fortuna Games N.V. (Reg. No. 162413, Curacao), License No. OGL/2024/112/0974. Compliance: Our program adheres to EU Directives (2015/849) and international AML standards.
2. The Verification Process (KYC)
To ensure safety, CrixCasino implements a three-step verification system.
Step 1: Basic Verification
- Requirement: Mandatory for all users before any withdrawal.
- Action: You must complete your profile with accurate data: Full Name, Date of Birth, Gender, and Residential Address.
- Method: Automated AI check upon registration/update.
Step 2: Identity Verification
- Trigger: Cumulative deposits or withdrawals exceeding €2,000.
- Requirement: Upload a photo of a valid Government ID (Passport, Driver’s License) alongside a handwritten note with a random 6-digit code provided by the system.
- Process: Electronic cross-check against global databases. If the check fails, proof of residence (utility bill/bank statement) will be requested.
Step 3: Source of Wealth (SOW)
- Trigger: Cumulative deposits or withdrawals exceeding €5,000.
- Requirement: Documentation proving the origin of funds (e.g., payslips, business ownership, inheritance, investment dividends).
- Action: Accounts may be temporarily frozen until the SOW is verified by our compliance team.
3. AML Risk Management
We categorize users into risk regions to apply appropriate due diligence:
- Low Risk: Standard 3-step verification applies.
- Medium Risk: Lower thresholds for verification (Step 2 at €1,000, Step 3 at €2,500). This also applies to users converting crypto to fiat.
- High Risk: Users from high-risk jurisdictions are strictly banned.
Ongoing Monitoring: Our AI systems and AML Compliance Officers monitor transactions 24/7 for suspicious patterns, such as:
- Depositing and withdrawing without gameplay.
- Mismatches between payment methods and account holder details.
- Sudden changes in behavior or spending.
4. Transaction Rules
- Withdrawal Method: Funds must be withdrawn using the same method used for the deposit.
- Third-Party Payments: Strictly prohibited. You must use your own personal accounts.
- Suspicious Activity: Any atypical transaction will be investigated and reported to the relevant Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) if deemed necessary.
5. Data Retention & Security
- Storage: All KYC documents and transaction records are stored securely and encrypted for a minimum of 10 years after the business relationship ends.
- Privacy: Your data is never sold. It is only shared with authorities if required by law for AML investigations.
